Happy Thanksgiving holiday to everyone. In my home, the day after Halloween is really the first day of Christmas but I do leave one day, tomorrow, for Thanksgiving. I can't go without thanking everyone who has been there for me and my family and has allowed me to be there for your family. I feel like the world has gotten a little crazy lately and I hope that we all breathe a little slower around this time of year and think about being kind and giving everyone grace as we zoom around like chickens with our heads cut off.

Enjoy your day tomorrow with friends and family or on the beach sipping a drink ... whatever floats your boat!

National averages are amazing right now on residential mortgaqge rates. We keep asking ourselves, "Then why aren't buyers pulling the triggers?" With sellers averaging 25k or more in price reductions, I'd say it's an amazing time to be a buyer. What are your thoughts?

Perception of what low rates should be
Prices still unaffordable to many buyers
Economic uncertainy and job worries
World stability uncertainties
Buyer expectations
Lack of suitable inventory
Current home has rates under 4%

Turkey Fryer Safety

This month I wanted to share some safety tips regarding one of my favorites, fried turkey! I think the main takeaways should be completely thawed and dried and pre-measure with water. It's surprising how little oil goes into the fryer and using water and your frozen turkey to draw a line on fryer is a good way to keep it safe. Be careful. I don't need to hear about anyone's house burning up this year.
